Sherri Quimby
Matron of Honor
Sherri was the first friend Ebony made upon relocationg to Valdosta, GA in 1989. They were your typical teenagers; gossip on the phone for countless hours, pass notes during school; share stories about boys they liked; and discuss their future goals. These two were inseperable.
That relationship remained the same even after graduating high school and choosing their careers. Sherri and Ebony still talk about everything and treat each other as sisters. Ebony calls Sherri her biggest cheerleader because she has been supportive of each and every accomplishment Ebony has had.
Sherri is a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy and resides in Jacksonville, FL with her husband, Arlista, and their children Lilla (Ebony's Godchild) and Nylah.
Takela Anderson-McClinton

From the day they met, Takela and Ebony formed a unique bond. In 2004, their boys would befriend one another while playing rec football. Takela and Ebony would quickly learn from their conversations on the football field that they had quite a lot in common (fashion, education, traveling, shopping, etc). They would soon begin to hang out as a family and even travel the globe together.
Ebony has always called Takela her Sister-from-Another Mister because they are so much a like. So much so, they are to become sisters after Ebony and Steve's union as Takela recently married Steve's brother, Roger.
Takela is a Nurse Practitioner with Evans-Blount Community Health Center and resides in Browns Summit, NC. She is married to Roger and they have four lovely children, Malik, Kamare, Sherrod, and Nylah.
Denys Fluitt

Some friendships start off shaky. That was the case for Ebony and Denys. According to Denys, Ebony refused to share any of her Reese's Peanut Butter Cups after Denys requested one. Denys let that go and quickly became Ebony's "ride or die" best friend. She was there for Ebony during the birth of Amari and that meant a lot to Ebony. They would soon do everything together (the good and the bad).
Ebony considers Denys the type of friend you can share anything with. She has Ebony's back for whatever; and without question or hesitation. They are the best of friends and will always be.
Denys is a Public Health Liasion for the State of GA and resides in Warner Robins, GA. She has one Son, Ebony's Godson, Carlos (CJ).
Simone Bryan

Simone and Ebony met by a mutual friend and quickly discovered they were neighbors. An instant friendship developed from that moment. The two would explore the nightlife of Greensboro together enjoying their free moments as single women (that was very short-lived for Ebony as Steve entered her life during this time *smile*).
Ebony loves Simone's carefree attitude and she is very funny. They share so much in common and genuinely enjoy one another's company. Simone was present the night Ebony met Steve and would always tell Ebony that she was "Team Steve". Her support throughout the years led to a forever friendship between her and Ebony.
Simone is a Supervisor for Wal-Mart Stores and resides in Greensboro, NC. She with the help of her loving boyfriend, AJ, is raising her two sons, Jordan and Kordan.
Ondriviea Wallace

There are times when two will connect on a spiritual level and then instantly realize that God introduced them to one another for a reason. Ondriviea was that person for Ebony. They met at The Industry Hair Salon by chance and days later ran into each other in downtown Greensboro. They learned that they worked together at Lincoln Financial and decided to meet for lunch. The rest is history. The two would talk and talk for hours over the next few weeks about everything; from spiritual guidance, their children, former and current relationships, career goals; and the list goes on.
Ebony felt an instant kinship with Ondriviea and is certain that they are in one another's lives for a reason. Ondriviea, according to Ebony, has such a warm and giving spirit and to top it off; her passion is training, just like Ebony. These two were meant for each other!
Ondriviea hails from Jacksonville, NC and is a Corporate Trainer for Lincoln Financial. She has three beautiful children-Tyheem, Jumar, and Jania.
Amari Williams

On March 12, 2002 Ebony delivered this beautiful little girl that she affectionately calls her Joy. From the moment she was brought home, Amari has been full of energy and always smiling. She is the kindest person Ebony knows and her integrity is above par (no throwing trash out the window in front of her...lol). Amari has always been beautiful but she has truly blossomed into a gorgeous young Lady.
Amari has quite the future plans. She is very tall and has discussed being a model. Ebony always tells her to keep her goal in mind and it will come to life.
Amari resides in Browns Summit, NC and is a 7th grader at a local charter academy. She is also a competitive cheerleader for CA Cheer and Dance and thrills the crowd with her super-high, super-straight toe touches. She has future plans to run track for her school and to try out for the middle school cheerleading squad.
Venice' Winchester

Where do I begin? Super smart...check! Super pretty...check! Super kind...check! Supermodel...check! Venice' is all of that and more. When Venice' was born her Mother did not have a name for her and allowed Ebony to choose one. Venice' she became and she is Ebony's closest cousin. Despite their age difference, Venice and Ebony discuss everything. Venice' has been noted to say that Ebony is her role model, but little does she know; Ebony looks up to her and is inspired by her successes in life.
Venice is a Sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte studying Communications with a minor in English and she is also on a pre-Med track. She is a fashion model as well, having modeled for Ebony's boutique, y'nobe chic. She is also actice in her school's modeling troupe. Her future plans include attending medical school.
Brittany Cowans

Brittany is Ebony's younger cousin that she grew up with as little girls whenver Ebony's parents were in town visiting North Carolina. Brittany has always had an innate fashion sense, so Ebony would get the privilege to go shopping with Brittany and her Mom and Aunts. Ebony would later develop the same fashion sense and credit Brittany for inspiring her.
Brittany's talents go far beyond fashion, however. Brittany is a graduate of Spelman University with a Journalism degree and High Point University with her MBA. She has used these talents to land successful positions as regional sales representatives for the pharmaceutical and publishing industry.
Brittany resides in Greensboro, NC and is a pharmaceutical sales rep for a major pharmaceutical organization.
Jo'niyah Bowden-McClinton

Jo'Niyah is Steve's beautiful daughter and his little muse. Her presence coupled with a big personality, lights up any room as soon as she walks in. She is far from shy and will hold a conversation with anyone on any topic. Ebony is always surprised at how quick witted she is and describes her as sassy, smart and a sweetheart.
Jo'Niyah is four years old and resides in Newport News, VA. She is in preschool and the teachers and students just love her. Her intelligence is going to position her for greatness. In the meantime, Steve encourages all little boys to stay away from his daughter. *fists up**smile*
